Arnold L. Schingeck
Arnold Arnie L. Schingeck, 75, of Marinette, died Sunday, May 11 at his residence surrounded by his friends and family. He was born on Feb. 26, 1939, to the late Emil and Emma (Blanik) Schingeck in Marinette.
He had worked for Wausaukee Enterprise for 10 years and currently for Goodwill since 1977. He enjoyed staying up to date on current events, being a great weatherman, and making jokes. He was involved in Special Olympics where he had been in track and most recently a bowler. He loved fishing. He and his brother, Richard, were inseparable, spending most of their lives together.
Survivors include a brother, Richard Schingeck; sister, Margie Wyman; guardian, Karie Anderson; and many friends at Goodwill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Donald, Ralph, Leonard, Kenneth, and Roger; and two sisters, Doris Laitnen and Gladys Uhl.
Friends may call at Zion Lutheran Church on Thursday, May 15th from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p.m. with Rev. Keith Kolstad officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
