Womans Club Plans Benefit Yard Sale
The Pound Womans Club began their Spring banquet on Wednesday, May 14 with a tour of Woller Precision Machine in Pound. Dinner was served at Cheers in Coleman.
Lillian Goddard was recognized as a long-term member and guests were Cindy Messenger, Nancy Morstad, Barb Scheffen and Sandie Woller. Susan Sanford will present two scholarships from the club at the Coleman Senior Recognition Night on May 28.
The annual yard sale to benefit Coleman High School scholarships is on Thursday, June 5 and Friday, June 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Al Salewski produce stand in Beaver. Anyone having items to donate to the club for the yard sale can call Donna at 920-591-0568. Electronics and appliances will not be accepted.
Club members will help with the Pound celebration on June 28. Winners of prizes were Cindy Messenger, Nancy Gross, Sandie Woller, Dolly Tobison and Sue Goddard. Banquet committee members were Donna Salewski and Mary Meyer.
