Christian A. Baumler, 35, of Menominee, passed away Monday, May 19 at home due to complications with his disability.
Born April 7, 1979, to Fred and Carol (Kienitz) Baumler in Menominee, he graduated from high school in Iron Mountain in 1998 and worked for Rent to Own and Aacer. On Nov. 28, 2006, he married Patricia Pattie Collier in Menominee.
He enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Sr. He also loved bike riding, fishing with his dad and grandpa, going to the casino with his mom, and spending time with his family, especially his son, Tyler. He was an avid bowler on many leagues and had his 300 ring.
He is survived by his wife, Pattie Baumler, of Menominee; a son, Tyler Baumler, of Iron Mountain; mother, Carol Kahl, of Marinette; father, Fred (Peggy) Baumler, of Bark River; grandfather, Ferdinand Baumler, of Menominee; a sister, Becky Kahl, of Marquette; two step-brothers, Raymond LeClaire, of Clarksville, Tn. and Eric LeClaire, of Watertown; a step-sister, Holly (Scott) Derouin, of Escanaba; step nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Jackie (Eric) Schimmel; a brother-in-law, Ronnie (Anna) Collier; uncles, Dan (Marge) Kienitz and Tom (Linette) Kienitz; aunts, Karen Baumler, Brenda Luft, Sue (Bill) St. Vincent and Tina (Duane) Dill; many step-aunts; uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Elvira Uecke and Rita Baumler.
Visitation will be held at Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home, 549 10th Ave, Menominee, Mi. on Thursday, May 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
