Allan F. Miller, 75, of New Berlin, passed away one day before his 76th birthday on May 17.
Born May 18, 1938, in Menominee Mi., to Albert and Edna Miller, he graduated from Marinette High School in 1956. He married his high school sweetheart, Phyllis Jensen, on Sept. 7, 1957 and they were married 57 years. He served active duty in the United States Army for six months and five plus years in the Army Reserve and retired from Wisconsin Bell, Milwaukee, with 37 years of service at age 55.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis; two children, Scott (Marlene) Miller, of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Terri (Mike) Bratkowski, of Belgium; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Grandaw; a brother, Daniel (Barb) Miller; four sisters-in-law, Rosalyn (Richard) Glenn, Helen (Eugene) Ahrens, Faye (Jon) Heraly and Kim (Rick) Rush and a brother-in-law, Peter Jensen.
As per his wishes, a private service was held with interment in Forest Home Cemetery, Marinette. Krause Funeral Home of Milwaukee assisted the family. Memorial donations can be made in his name to First Trinity Lutheran Church, 920 Wells St., Marinette, Wi 54143.
