Walter D. Weller
Walter D. Dan Weller, 61, of Peshtigo, passed away Monday, May 12, surrounded by his family.
He attended Chofu High School in Japan, where he was quarterback for the football team and spoke fluent Japanese. After high school, he served in the United States Air Force for 13 years as an airplane mechanic, reaching rank of Flying Crew Chief. After service, he was employed as a truck driver.
He enjoyed working, traveling the west coast, fishing, hiking and
traveling to airplane graveyards. He will be missed by his family.
Survivors include his wife, Kathlyne Weller; children, Tanya Weller (John) and Jeanette (Daniel) Sapien and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Rose Weller.
