Peggy J. Stetina, 66, of Daggett, Mi., passed away Tuesday, May 27 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born Jan. 10, 1948 in Tuscombia, Ala., to Emmett and Martha Hanson, on March 19, 1966 she married Joseph Stetina in Chicago. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aide at Roubal Care and Rehab Center for many years.
She operated an animal shelter in Oak Park, Ill. and enjoyed going to DeYoung's Zoo. She also enjoyed going to the Senior Center where she made many friends and played bingo, but most of all, being with her family and cooking for them is what she enjoyed most.
Survivors include her husband, Joe of Daggett; a daughter, Tonya Stetina, of Elgin, Ill.; a son, Joe Jr. (Dianne), of Jamestown, N.C. and three grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a brother, Emmett Wayne Hanson.
Family called at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home on Saturday, May 31 at 11 a.m. until time of a Funeral service at 1 p.m. Pastor Archie Roberts officiated, followed by burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Banat.
