Elaine (Gould) Gotchy, 79, of Verona, formerly of Rhinelander, passed away at her home with family by her side on Saturday, May 24.
Born May 2, 1935, in Marinette, to Lawrence and Josephine (Gremban) Gould, she graduated from Marinette High School and then Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, Chicago (now Rush University). She also received a BSN from Milton College and was employed at St. Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander, retiring after 30 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Tom) Anklam, of Dublin, Ca.; two sons, Kurt (Kathy Kopp), of Rhinelander and Brian (Susan), of Verona; four grandchildren; a brother, Westley (Bonnie) Gould and sisters, Carol Jean Fizzard, Sharon Horine and Margie (Richard) Boucher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard and a brother, Dennis.
At her request, no service will be held. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Hazelhurst, where her husband is buried. Memorials to the Rhinelander Food Pantry are appreciated. The Gaffney Busha Funeral Home, of Eagle River assisted the family with arrangements.
