Tavern League Golf Outing at Crivitz
The annual Marinette County Tavern League Golf Outing will be held on Monday, June 23 at Desmidts Golf Course in Crivitz.
The event will use a scramble format and golf skills are unimportant. Entry fee is $65 per person and includes 18-holes of golf with power cart, cookout luncheon and door prizes. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. The outing will also offer bucket raffles, a 50/50 drawing and an opportunity to win a rifle, shotgun or half a dressed-out pig.
The Marinette County Tavern League provides financial support to many local charities including Marinette County Elderly Services, DAR Boys and Girls Club, Fisher House, and food pantries in Marinette, Crivitz, Coleman-Pound, Amberg-Wausaukee, and Goodman-Armstrong Creek. The League also supports the Safe Ride Program that provides taxi rides to patrons who are unable or unwilling to drive their vehicles.
