Joel A. Trempe
Joel A. Trempe, 54, of Madison, passed away Wednesday evening, June 18 at St. Marys Hospital in Madison from complications of pneumonia.
Born April 22, 1960 in Menominee, Mi., to Bette (Shefky) Trempe and the late Merlin Trempe, he graduated from Menominee High School in 1978 and from Michigan Technological University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology.
He moved to Madison where he worked for the University of Wisconsin and later in the marketing division of Lunar Radiation. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, held season tickets and also enjoyed bowling, entertaining in his home and his golden retriever, Cody.
He is survived by his mother, Bette Trempe of Menominee; a sister, Barbara Trempe, of Marinette; his godmother, Mary Jacobs; aunts; uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Merlin and a brother, John.
Friends called at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette from 2 p.m. until time of services at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 22. A luncheon followed. Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette
