THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Gerald "Jerry" Moore, 47, of Amberg, passed away on Tuesday, June 17 unexpectedly of heart condition.
Born in Las Vegas, Nv. in 1967, to James E. Moore and Darlene Phelan Moore, he worked in construction of new homes in Las Vegas where he lived until moving to Amberg on the Menominee River in 2006. He then worked at the Amberg Pub where he met many friends.
He enjoyed 4-wheeling, music, playing guitar and drums and living on the river with his dog "Patches".
Survivors include his mother, Darlene R Pittman, Wausaukee; a brother, Darren Moore (Michele) Las Vegas, Nv.; sisters, Kristina Brooks, Marinette and Amanda Stumbris ( Kevin), Wausaukee; a stepsister, Barbara Daring Wendland (Ted) Amberg and a step-brother, Bill M. Pittman ( Colleen) Kansas; nieces; nephews and friends.
Preceding him in death were his father, James E Moore; step-father, William E Pittman; grandparents and an aunt.
In honor of his life, an informal gathering will be held at The Amberg Pub on Wednesday evening, June 25 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A potluck will follow. If attending, bring a dish to pass.
