Dave Seymour has regained sole possession of Men 's High Gun with a 24.43 average and 171 total in the Menominee Woods and Stream Sportsman 's Club Summer Trap League. Lee Fernstrum is second with a 24.29 average and 170 total followed by Dale Welch (24.00 and 168), Mac McAllister (23.71 and 166), and Dan Bayee and Jim Stenzel (23.43 and 164 each).
Libby Theuerkauf is the Ladies ' High Gun at a 23.00 average and 161 total, Heather Juckem (20.43 and 143), Pat Barker (20.29 and 142), Mary Chevalier (19.86 and 139), and Sandy Waugus (17.00 and 119).
Top scores shot during June 17-19 were posted by Rod Sterzing (25); Paul Korn (24, 24, 23, 23); Bob Maloney, Wally Barker and Mike Carroll (24, 24); John Turner (24, 23, 23); Mac McAllister, Mike Gandt, Jim Stenzel and Jeff Brofka (24, 23); Dave Brower, Carl Muffler, Gary Smith and Wayne Berlick (24); Ken Kline, Jon Nelson, Jason Juckem, Brian Miller, Mike Waugus, Don Doolittle, Scott Barnes, Loren Rose and Jim LaCanne (23).
High Squad for last week was shot twice, on Tuesday morning by Mike Carroll (24), Mike Waugus (22), Tom Sadowske (18), Rod Sterzing (25) and Mac McAllister (24), and again on Tuesday evening by Carl Muffler (24), Charlie Nagler (22), Paul Korn (23), Mike Gandt (24) and Tony Kakuk (20) for totals of 113.
In team action Kakuk 's defeated Lithocrafters 121-115, Van 's IGA edged Little Digger Construction 121-120, Barker 's Ridge beat Keeter 's Construction 121-118, Winsert edged Roadhouse I 118-117, Angeli 's defeated Wild Rivers Forestry 120-118, and Roadhouse II defeated the bye score 120-118.
Team standings after 7 weeks in the 11-team circuit find Angeli 's at 7-0-0 with four teams sitting at 5-2-0...Kakuk 's, Van 's IGA, Wild Rivers and Winsert.
League and open shooting are available on Tuesday mornings from 11am-2pm as well as Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5pm-9pm. Some teams are looking for replacements, so new shooters can still get into the league. The trap range is open to all area shotgunners, whether to shoot in the league or only an occasional night just for fun. To join in the fun just come out to the club at N3675 County Road 577, about 10 miles north of Menominee.
Lake Noquebay Results
Six shooters connected on rounds of 24 during week 6 to pace the action at the Lake Noquebay Sportsmans Club. Posting the high scores were Wayne Berlick, Chet Besaw, John Brown, Jeff Kump, Elliott Padgett and Darryl Zernia.
Adding scores of 23 were Mike Danen, Andy Matekine and Ray Kitzman.
Kump sports the top average at 23.00 with Zernia sitting at 22.50.
Tall Oaks continues to lead the league with a 4-2-0 record.
The club is open every Sunday from 10am-2pm and Monday 5pm-10pm.
Over the 4th of July weekend, the club will be closed.
