VFW Brat Fry at Crivitz July 3
Crivitz--The Crivitz Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2063 will sponsor a Brat Fry on Thursday, July 3rd at Witt's Piggly Wiggly from 10 am to approximately 2 pm or later for the many visitors expected in the area for the July 4th festivities. Brats, hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, and water will be available and all proceeds will be used to support area veterans.
On July 4th, the Post and Auxiliary will have a booth at John Shafer Pavilion in Veterans Park immediately after the Legion July 4th Parade until supplies last or fireworks begin.
On Saturday, July 5th, New Life of Crivitz will host a Brat Fry along with hamburgers and hot dogs. There will also be a volleyball tournament, bake sale, live music, and other lawn games. New Life is located on the corner of U.S. Hwy 141 and Airport Road, approximately two miles south of Crivitz. The event will take place from 11 am - 5 pm with all proceeds going to VFW Post 2063.
On Sunday, July 6, VFW Post will again offer brats, burgers, hot dogs, and soft drinks to travelers heading home. This event will be held from 9 am until after lunch at the Crivitz Shell Station. For more information call VFW Post 2063 Commander Bryon Boehmke at (715) 927-1945.
