THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Leonard Birr of Amberg, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 28, at his residence. He was born May 6, 1972 in Oconto, son of the late Earl and Geraldine (Pirlot) Birr. He was an avid fisherman and deer hunter and also enjoyed spending time with his step grandchildren and his favorite dog, Hooch.
Survivors include a sister and brother, Gloria (Wayne) Anderson and Ron (Pam) Birr; two step-children, Tosha (Miah Hoffman) Barr and Jeffrey (Renee) Rochon; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mindy, and an infant brother, George.
A private family service was held.
Messar-Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee assisted the family with arrangements.
