Nancy L. Bartels
Nancy L. Bartels, 72, of Dunbar, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday July 6.
Born in Waukesha on Dec. 2, 1941, to Howard and Eleanore Orgas, she was married for almost 50 years to Fred Bartels until he preceded her in death in November of 2008.
She enjoyed trips to the casino, but mostly, time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Michael (LeAnn) Bartels, Tammy (Tom) Schwind and Tim (Terri) Bartels; Maggie, who Nancy cared for 20 plus years; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a brother, Mike (Louise) ODonnell; a sister, Cheryl (Bruce) Bennett; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred and a sister, Diane.
Per her wishes, no service will be held. Messar Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee assisted the family with arrangements.
