THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Marilyn (Jones) LaCoursier, 61, of Kingsford, Mi., passed away Saturday, June 28 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
Born to Arlene (Wright) and Edwin Jones, she attended Kingsford High school with the Class of 1971. She married Roger LaCoursier of Hermansville and was employed as a CNA at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers for many years.
She is survived by a daughter, Vicki LaCoursier, of Warren, Mi.; a brother, John Jones, of Niagara; two sisters, Carol Broullire, of Aurora and Susan Miller, of Kingsford and a special aunt, Shirley (John) Bjorkman, of Kingsford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlene and Edwin Jones; her husband, Roger and a brother, Randy.
A private Memorial Service was held on Sunday, July 6 at the Riverside Park in Kingsford, followed by a luncheon.
