THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Agnes Marie Clark, 78, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 3 after a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer.
Born Jan. 15, 1936 in Menominee, Mi., to Thomas and Emma LaVallee, she married John Jack Clark on March 21, 1954 and they were married for 60 years. The couple operated the family farm in Grover for 34 years and she was a huge part of the foundation the farm life provided for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also worked at Rennes Nursing Home for several years.
She enjoyed puzzles, flowers, playing cards, trips with her husband, but especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by special friends, Tommy and Jackie Joy who shared many great adventures and trips with her and her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Jack; children, Darrell (Kathy), of Columbia, S.C., Dawn (Dale) Stephens, of Adelaide, South Australia, Tom of Minneapolis, Mn. and Tammy (John) Thomson, of Oconto Falls; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Enid Behnke, of Peshtigo and Jeanne (Peter) Anderson, of Menominee, Mi. and a brother-in-law, Lloyd Clark, of Green Bay.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Brian Michael Clark; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Dale Behnke and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Clark.
Visitation was held Monday, July 7 at Harmony United Methodist Church from 1 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. with Rev. Kevin Dembinski officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Memorial Garden in Marinette. Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
