Cora G. (Michaud) Erickson, 85, of Menominee, passed away Wednesday, July 2 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born Jan. 23, 1929, to William and Mae (Michaud) Kintgen in Iron Mountain, Mi., she married Ralph G. Erickson on April 29, 1956 and he preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1976.
A homemaker, she enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren, but was proud to go back to school to get her diploma from Menominee High School in 1982. She enjoyed knitting, being outdoors, playing cribbage and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Community Covenant Church.
She is survived by two sons, Lee and John Erickson, of Menominee; three daughters, Joyce (Clarence) Allgeyer, of Wallace, Patty (Jerry) Beechner, of Peshtigo and Marilyn (Gary) Parrett, of Marinette; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a sister, Rose Saunier, of Marinette and a brother, David Kintgen, of Carbondale, Mi.
In addition to her husband, Ralph, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Edith, Alice, Vivian and Mary Jean and three brothers, Phillip, Robert and Charles.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8 at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette from 4 p.m. until time of the funeral services at 6 p.m. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee.
