August 18 Coleman Booster Club Sets Kickoff Banquet
The Coleman Cougar Booster Club will hold its annual kickoff banquet to raise money to help support and advance the athletic and activities programs of the School District on Monday, August 18 at Romy's Holiday Inn, Kelly Lake. Doors will open at 5:30pm and a dinner of tenderloin tips and chicken will be served at 7pm.
Dinner tickets are $35, which includes a chance at a door prize or other raffles, and the company of other Cougar Booster supporters. Sponsor fee is $100 and includes a dinner ticket and the opportunity to be listed in the program. Sponsors will also have an additional raffle of their own.
The majority of funds that were distributed to academic and athletic programs at Coleman Schools were raised at this banquet and would not have been possible without area businesses and community members' support. Over the past few years the Cougar Community Booster Club has contributed to the baseball/softball complex fencing, high school gymnasium sound system, high school gymnasium floor, gymnasium banners and stage curtains, district electronic sign, Cougar sports teams' equipment and uniforms, fan buses, elementary reading program, yearly scholarships and more.
The fun-filled event will also include a paddle wheel, table and bucket raffles.
The advanced registration tickets will give a chance to win one of three $100 bills. All banquet ticket reservations and sponsorships received on or before August 13, 2014 will be eligible.
Send reservations to Cougar Community Booster Club, PO Box 72, Coleman, WI 54112 or contact Booster Club president, Don Bader at 920-737-5993.
