Wagner Historical Lists 15 Winners in Quilt Raffle
Drawing for the annual quilt raffle by the Wagner Historical Society was held on Saturday, July 12 at the Wagner Town Hall.
The 15 winners are announced. First of a hand quilted Churn Dash quilt was Ken Vieth, second and $100 cash went to Becky Roberts, third-afghan donated by Susan Lynch to Kell Dorsher, fourth-afghan donated by Milda Vogt went to Bill Snyder.
Fifth place winner of an afghan donated by Linda Fronsee was Tammy Francour, sixth was a bird feeder donated by Mike Baylor and won by Milda Vogt, seventh was a table runner donated by Dona Witzke with Lynda Caylor as winner.
The pillow donated by Milda Vogt for eighth place went to Susan Squire, a purse donated by Betty Cherry for ninth went to Johnny Dietrich, pillow cases as 10th place donated by Milda Vogt went to Cliff Ernst.
For 11th place was knitted dish cloths and scrubbies donated by Marly Limberg and went to Bro Bob, 12th place of a large shawl donated by Dorothy Suennen was won by Marian Anderson.
Susan Squire won the 3 piece hot pad set donated by Dorothy Suennen for 13th place, 14th was hand knit mens socks given by Dorothy Suennen and went to Linda Cayla. For 15th place casserole tote and dish donated by Ember Rickaby went to Debbie Holmes.
Profits from the raffle are used for the maintenance of the museum at the Wagner Town Hall and to assist the Wagner Fire Department and for other community needs.
