Florence R. Liddle
Florence R. (Soderberg) Cookie Liddle, 73, of Commonwealth, passed away Saturday, July 12 at home with family members by her side.
Born March 2, 1941 in Florence, to Waino Leppanen and Joyce (Trudell) Soderberg, she grew up in Florence and attended school there. She married Roy Liddle on March 27, 1965 and they resided in Spread Eagle for many years before moving to Commonwealth. He preceded her in death on April 29, 2000.
She enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, bowling, reading, the Green Bay Packers and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by two daughters, Julie (Steve Cory) and Sherri (Eric) Kaad; two granddaughters; a grandson; six sisters, Shanon (Ken) Moratti, Brenda Mohr and Alene (Joe) Sleeter, all of Florence, Deanna Hughes, Oconto Falls, Adrienne (Bill) Hoenne, New Lincoln and Bernie (Bill) Sjoquist, New Holstein; two brothers, Jack Leppanen and Bucko Soderberg, both of Florence; a special aunt, Millie Conn, Florence; many cousins; nieces; nephews and a friend, Cuda.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Kay Liddle; two granddaughters; her step-father, Alfred Soderberg; her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Abdella and a special friend, Dan Nick.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16 from 5 p.m. until time of funeral services at 7 p.m. at Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence. Pastor Doug Johnson officiated with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Florence.
