Harriet Ann (Roose) Wasko, 97, of Marinette, passed away Sunday, July 20.
Born Dec. 20, 1916, in Indiana, to William and Katherine (Grainer) Roose, she grew up and attended school in Indiana, moving to the Marinette area when she was in her 20s. She married Carl Wasko in July of 1944.
She was well-read, took courses towards a degree and worked as a school business manager. A member of Pioneer Presbyterian Church, she put their newsletter together for several years and was very spiritual, reading the Bible daily. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting, was a 4H leader and loved to garden.
