Paul E. Peterson, 73, of Pound, passed away at home Saturday, July 26, with his wife, Mary at his side.
Born Nov. 1, 1940, in Sturgeon Bay, to Eugene and Carolyn (Steele) Peterson, he graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1959 and Bellin School as a surgical technician in 1962.
He was employed most of his career at Winnebago Department of Corrections, but was also a professional photographer and salesman. After retiring, he served as an EMT for the Brazeau Ambulance Service and enjoyed wintering in McAllen, Tx.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Mary (Tock); children, Mark (Jane) Peterson, John (Gigi) Peterson and Sara (Tom) Tilque; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and a sister, Lynn (Elton) Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Carolyn (Steele) Peterson.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, at the home of his daughter, Sara at 1028 Traboh Ct., De Pere. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. until time of a casual Memorial Service at 2 p.m. and a luncheon to follow.
