THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Crivitz Firefighters To Fill the Boot
Members of the Crivitz Fire Department will take off their boots to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association's annual Fill-the-Boot campaign. The firefighters will be Filling the Boot Friday, Aug. 15 on County AA from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This simple street-side collection campaign allows firefighters to raise funds for MDA and demonstrate their commitment to the community as they received contributions from motorists.
All of the money raised will help benefit local MDA clients and services. For example, $30 funds a flu shot, $85 funds one minute of MDA research and $800 sends one child to MDA Summer Camp.
MDA is a voluntary health agency working to defeat more than 40 neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive services and far-reaching professional and public health education.
For more information about MDA activities and services in the area, contact MDA at (920) 499-4571.
