Patricia A. Cornejo, 64, of Goodman, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 7 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee.
Born in Goodman on March 13, 1950, to Vitold and Jacqueline (Murray) Marciulionis, she married Marcario Cornejo on April 24, 1970. They traveled during the early part of their marriage and settled in Goodman in 1980 to raise their five children.
She cared for others and nurtured those she cared, for was evident. She enjoyed raising animals, gardening, crocheting, reading and collecting unique rocks. She was found beauty in many things, created beauty through her many talents and devoted her life to her family. She loved being a grandmother to her eight grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Marcario; five children, Carmen (Joseph) Campain, Victor Cornejo, Juan (Kristine) Cornejo, Carlos (Sara) Cornejo and Cristina Cornejo; eight grandchildren; siblings, Margaret Flees, Francis Bocinsky, Emily Sparapani, Alphonse Marciulionis, Donald Marciulionis Sr., Mary Simmons, Lorraine Marciulionis, Jacqueline Ispa and George Marciulionis; many nieces; nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Laverne, Raymond and an infant brother, Vitold Jr.
Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Goodman. Burial was in Goodman Cemetery. Messar Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee assisted the family with arrangements.
