Edward J. DesJardin
Edward J. DesJardin, 89, from Town of Lake, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, at home.
Born Aug. 9, 1925 in Milwaukee, he served in the United States Navy during World War II and in the United States Army during the Korean War. He resided in Milwaukee where he was employed by the Post Office until retirement and then moved to Town of Lake. He married Helen Atwood Aug. 8, 1998 at St. Augustines Church in Wausaukee.
He enjoyed gardening, outdoors, helping others and visiting people.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; two daughters, Toni (Mike) Payleitner, of Waukesha and Shara (Rich) Malone, of Green Bay; two sons, Dale (Rana Kahles) Atwood Jr. and Chad (Margie) Atwood Sr.; a brother, Lee DesJardin, of Ashland; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 11 a.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Frederick Sserugga officiating.
