Bonnie J. Peterson, 50, of Menominee, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born June 30, 1964, to Lyle Red and Alice (Kiefer) Sievert in Menominee, after graduating from Menominee High School in 1982, she worked in housekeeping for the Best Western for many years. On July 29, 1995, she married Keith Peterson at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Menominee, where she was a member.
She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, spending time with family, especially her great-niece, Sylvia and attending the boys sporting events.
She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Keith; two sons, Nathan and Cody, of Menominee; in laws, Gary and Carol Peterson, of Marinette; three brothers, Mike (Debbie) Sievert, of Peshtigo, Terry (Cindy) Sievert, of Porterfield and Tracy Sievert, of Menominee; a sister, Patty (Gary) Thurow, of Marinette; a sister in law, Starr (Jim) Taylor, of Marinette; brothers-in-law, Gary (Rhonda) Peterson, of Daggett and Scott (Michelle) Peterson, of Manitowoc; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Red and Alice Sievert.
Friends called at the Thielen Funeral Home on Friday, Aug. 8 from 4 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 7 p.m. Rev. Richard DeBenedetto officiated, with burial in Birch Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to BAMC Oncology.
