June E. Peot, 79, of Peshtigo, passed away at home Monday, Aug. 11.
Born June 17, 1935 in Milwaukee, to William and Dorothy (Heins) Dow, she married Michael Peot in Georgia on Nov. 5, 1973. She worked as an LPN at Mount Sinai Hospital, Milwaukee for many years.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Michael; two children, Linda Grooms, Peshtigo and Tina (Robert) Patterson, Sugar Valley, Ga; a daughter-in-law, Susan Grooms, Milwaukee; a son-in-law, Roger Lyles, Georgia; two step-sons, Thomas (Jessie) Peot, Phoenix, Az.; James (Lisa) Peot, Peoria, Az.; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Elaine) Pautz, Menomonee, Wi. and a sister, Margaret Janz, Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by three children, Cheryl Lyles, Billy Grooms and Rhonda Grooms and a step-daughter, Terry Peot.
According to her wishes, no formal funeral services were held. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman assisted the family.
