Donald E. Schneider, 84, formerly of Marinette, passed away Thursday, Aug. 14 in Green Bay.
Born Aug. 14, 1930, to Arnold and Helen (Klar) Schneider in Chamberlain, S.D., he married Olga Tootie Sellers on Sept. 15, 1951 at St. Joseph Church in Walsh. He was a member of Holy Family Parish.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Tootie, of Green Bay; two sons, Donald Jr. (Judi), of Green Bay and John (Deborah), of Arbor Vitae; two daughters, Karen (Ed) Centena, of Pewaukee and Mary Cherry, of Green Bay; a sister, Dorothy (Orville) Kamin, of Porterfield; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy and a brother, Richard.
Friends called at Thielen Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 16 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass was held at Holy Family, Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bob Karuhn officiating. Burial was in St. Josephs Cemetery in Walsh.
