Elizabeth Betty (Lisowe) Warschkow, 101, of Lena, passed Monday, Aug. 25 at Sharpe Care, Oconto Falls.
Born April 17, 1913 at home in Lena to, Stephen and Anna (Kasper) Lisowe, on March 22, 1940, she married Gordon Carl Warschkow in Oconto Falls. He preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 1977. She worked at the Chicken Hatchery, Frigo Cheese Factory and with her husband in the upholstering business in Lena.
She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, sewing, crafts and traveling. She was good at telling cute jokes and stories and was a kind person with strong spiritual beliefs.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol(Charles) Pettis, Gilbert, Az.; three granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a son-in-law Warren Reed, Suring; a sister-in-law, Shirley Beaumia, Oconto Falls; two dear friends, Becky Bartell, Lena and May Lotter, Sharpe Care, Oconto Falls; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sons Jack, Jerry and Ricky Warschkow; a daughter Bonnie Reed; two grandsons; four sisters, Helen (Bernard) Schraufnagel, Susan (Frank) Gilles, Katherine (Leo) Yost and Marie (Vincent) Larsen; four brothers, Hubert (Genevieve) Lisowe, Joseph (Alice) Lisowe, Jacob (Esther) Lisowe and Mathew Lisowe.
Friends may call at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, Lena from 4 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28. Rev. Michael Fletcher will officiate with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
