Phyllis M. Anderson
Phyllis M. Anderson, 87, of Mountain, passed away Saturday, Aug. 30.
Born April 23, 1927, to Phil and Mary (Willes) Heisler, she married Peter Anderson on Nov. 12, 1949 in Mountain. She worked in assembly at Milwaukee Faucet and Briggs & Stratton until they moved to Mountain and bought the Green Lake Tap, operating it until 1981.
She enjoyed crocheting, painting and crafts, and won many prizes at the Oconto County Fair. A resident of Woodland Village Nursing Home in Suring for the past 10 years, she enjoyed playing Bingo.
She is survived by a son, Ken (Johanna) Ermis, of Mountain; a daughter, Arleen Beyma, of Milwaukee; two brothers, Marvin Heisler, of Laona and Duane (Carol) Heisler, of Gillett; two sisters, Delores Scully, of Oconto Falls and Elaine (Bob) Rosner, of Menomonee Falls; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter on Sept. 25, 1982; two brothers, Phil Heisler and Gordon Heisle; a son-in-law, Richard Beyma and a grandson, Huntzie Beyma.
Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 4 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a funeral service at 5:30 p.m., with Pastor Paul Scheunemann officiating. A graveside service will be held at Mountain Cemetery on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 11 a.m.
