Donald J. Paasch
Donald J. Paasch, 85, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Saturday, April 15 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born Sept. 16, 1931 in Milwaukee, to the late Gustaf and Lucille (Slawinski) Paasch, married the former Patricia LaMack in Menominee on Feb. 5, 1955. He was a machinist at Enstrom Helicopter for 35 years.
He enjoyed bowling, raising chickens, going to camp, woodworking and was an avid Detroit Lions and Milwaukee Brewers fan. A member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, he loved having his family by him and looked forward to holiday gatherings.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; seven children, Jeff (Terri) Paasch, Carle Paasch, Sherry (Rob) Johnston, Pat (Maureen) Paasch, Lori (Dan) Frank, LuAnn (Mike) Dubey and Julie (Mike) Krah; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and a brother, Harry Paasch.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Paasch and daughter in law, Beth Paasch.
Family will receive friends at Anderson Kell Funeral Home of Menominee on Tuesday, April 18 from 4 p.m. until time of military rites at 6:45 p.m., conducted by the Military 20 Year Club. A funeral service will follow with Fr. Brad Sjoquist officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee.
