Marcella F. Tebo
Marcella Frances (Kass) Tebo, 95, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Tuesday, April 11 in Sun City West, Az.
Born Dec. 17, 1921, in Menominee, to the late Nicholas and Mary (Roehl) Kass, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1939 and from Marvel School of Cosmetology in 1940. She was the last owner and operator of the Butterfly Beauty Salon, retiring in 1986.
She was a past president of the Business Woman's Club of Marinette. On Sept. 24, 1977, she married Francis Tebo at Resurrection Church. They loved traveling all over the world including the Great Wall of China, the Great Barrier Reef, Europe, the Caribbean, the entire United States and the highlight was an 80 day Cruise for their 30th Anniversary.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Francis Tebo of Menominee; a sister-in-law, LaVerne Kass of Birch Creek and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marion Gruber and four brothers, Nick, Clarence, John and Walter.
Visitation will take place at Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home in Menominee on Thursday, April 20 from 4 p.m. until time of a Vigil Prayer Service at 6 p.m., with Fr. Mark McQuesten presiding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Resurrection Church on Friday, April 21 at 11 a.m. Fr. McQuesten will preside with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
