Thomas Lloyd Vieth, 65, of Townsend, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 surrounded by family.
Born June 1, 1951 in Marinette, to the late Lloyd and Elvira Vieth, he grew up there, where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially being on the water. He also enjoyed diving ship wrecks in the Great Lakes and traveling.
He spent his career assisting others at AAL/Thrivent Financial helping families meet their long term financial goals. After retirement, they moved to Townsend where they helped people find lakefront property.
He is survived by his wife, Barb Cramer; two children, Josh (Katie) Vieth and Sasha Vieth; three grandchildren; two siblings, Betsy (Philip Brenner) Vieth and Mary Oehler; Barb's brother, Al (Greta) Hrubes and a nephew, Jordan Hrubes.
His parents preceded him in death.
Friends called at St. Mark Lutheran Church in De Pere on Wednesday, May 17 from 10:30 a.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. A memorial fund was established for the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center at Aurora BayCare-Green Bay. Ryan Funeral Home of De Pere assisted the family with arrangements.
