Patty Jean (Fields) Trepanier, 56, passed away Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017
Born Oct. 18, 1960 in Milwaukee, to Maynard and Carol (Winans) Fields, she married Paul Trepanier on March 15, 1984 at St. Peter's Church in Oconto.
She worked at First Wisconsin Bank, Milwaukee as an Administrative Assistant, Menasha State Bank, Menasha as a Closing Rep for Real Estate Loans, USDA-Farmers Home Administration as an Administrative Assistant, Church Secretary at Holy Trinity Parish, Oconto, Thompson's County Market as a Customer Service Clerk and most recently, OUSD Oconto Elementary School as a Paraprofessional Secretary. She also waitressed and bartended at area establishments.
A social butterfly, she enjoyed sharing life with others, but mostly with her children and loved being a grandmother. She will be remember as their Peppermint Patty or Molly for those on the bus. She enjoyed watching game shows, bingo, the casino, having a Margarita or Miller Lite with olives and cheering loudly for the Green Bay Packers.
She is survived by a son, Justin; a granddaughter and her father, Maynard Fields, all of Oconto; siblings, Paul "Fred" Fields, Oconto, Penny and Dr. Douglas Pierre, Brussels, Susan Miller, Suamico, Eric and Julie Albert, Bloomington, Ill.; extended family, Amber Johnson, Oconto Falls and Joey and Chrissy Kumhala, Oconto; four grandchildren; in-laws, Sue (Bostedt) Trepanier, Dan and Mary Trepanier, LouAnne (Trepanier) and David Roskowski, Mike and Cindy Trepanier, Catherine (Trepanier) Daeda, Ken and Dawn Trepanier and Patrick and Julie Trepanier and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Trepanier; a daughter, Kimberly Trepanier; her mother, Carol (Winans) Fields; her in-laws, Clarence (Comp) and Carol Trepanier; a brother-in-law, Claire Trepanier and many friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Gallagher Funeral Home in Oconto on Friday, Aug. 18 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Oconto on Saturday, Aug. 19, from 10 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Rev. Bob Karuhn will officiate with burial in Oconto Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
