Complete Audit For Crivitz VFW Unit
Crivitz-A meeting of the Crivitz VFW Memorial Post 2063 Auxiliary on July 10 was brought to order by president Nora Swanson at 7 p.m. at the Crivitz Legion Hall. Nine members were present. There were no new applications presented and roll call followed.
Carol Reichart opened the meeting with prayer, LaVerne Lundberg read a patriotic themed story and Pledge of Allegiance was recited by call. The minutes of the June 12 meeting were approved as read.
General orders and other communications were read with discussion after. The Auxiliary may purchase raffle tickets for their calendars. Discussion was held on recruiting new members.
"Catch the Dream" is the theme of the Auxiliary this year.
Treasurer Lundberg gave her report along with the audit report from the quarter which is completed.
The 4th of July festivities for the most part went well. More help is needed to close up next year The Post thanked Auxiliary members for all their help including the brat fry and poppy distribution.
Under new business, Lundberg talked about volunteering to have a booth at the fall and spring craft fairs at the high school to showcase what they do to recruit new members.
There were no committee reports nor no reports from trustees.
Lundberg also handed out the proper way to fold the American flag.
The meeting adjourned with closing prayers, according to the rituals. The next meeting was Aug. 14.
