Frieda I. (Patzer) Wesner, age 98, Crivitz resident, passed away Monday, August 28 at Newcare Convalescent Center in Crivitz.
Frieda was born April 4, 1919 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Henry and Emily (Price) Patzer. She married Russell "Rusty" Wesner in Milwaukee.
The couple resided in Pound where they owned and operated the Ranger Bar until retirement and moving to Crivitz. Frieda was in the ladies auxiliary and woman's activities at the Grace Lutheran Church, in Crivitz. She loved to wear her colorful hats and enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Frieda was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; three sisters, Olga Lester, Alma Havlik and Ruth Lemke and many nephews.
Family will greet relatives and friends Saturday, September 2 at the Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at NewCare Convalescent Center and Heartland Hospice for their many acts of kindness and care shown to Aunt Frieda throughout the years.
