Alice Jean Baker, 96, of Aurora, passed away Monday, Sept. 4, 2017 at Rennes Health Care Center-East in Peshtigo.
Born July 19, 1921 in Marinette, to the late Raymond and Clara (Osier) Perkins, she attended Marinette schools and graduated from Marinette High School in 1939. She married her first husband, Morgan F. Corwin and he preceded her in death. She then married Leroy F. Baker and he also preceded her in death.
She worked as a Respiratory Therapy Technician for Bay Area Medical Center for many years until retiring. She enjoyed making crafts, gardening and trips to the casino. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years.
She is survived by a son, Gary (Ann) Corwin of Stephenson, Mi.; a daughter, Sandy (Ken) Schuette of Fairfield Bay, Ar.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aurora on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 10:30 a.m. until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m., with Fr. Matthew Settle officiating. Burial will take place in Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette. Erickson Rochon and Nash Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Iron Mountain is assisting the family with arrangements.
