Stephen James "Chink" Dausey, 65, of Marinette, passed away Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 at Aurora BayCare Medial Center in Green Bay.
Born Feb. 1, 1952 in Marinette, to John and Jean (Bennett) Dausey, he grew up in Menekaunee and lived in the Marinette area most of his life. In September of 1980, he married Barb Kloida and she preceded him in death in 2010.
He served in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW and Combat Veterans Association in Engelwood, Fla. He enjoyed camping, fishing and riding his Harley.
He is survived by two children, Eric Dausey and Erin (George) Dupuy; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; three brothers, John Dausey, William (Connie) Dausey and Mike Anderson; a sister, Jacqueline Sanchez; his mother-in-law, Joan Miller; a brother-in-law, John (Theresa) Miller; an uncle, Loren Dausey; an aunt, Carol Bell; many nieces; nephews and friends.
Along with his parents and wife, Barb, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Silva and Sue Richter.
Friends called at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Wednesday, Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral services at 1 p.m. Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette.
