Diane Marie Mortier, 63, of Oconto, passed away Friday, Sept. 29, 2017 at home surrounded by her family.
Born July 26, 1954 in Oconto, to the late Glyn and Jeanette (Maes) Olson, she graduated from Oconto High School in 1972 and was a longtime employee at Thompson's County Market.
A member of the Harley Davidson Hog Chapter and Holy Trinity Church, she was a special person with a big heart, sense of humor and compassion for others. She married Dale Mortier on Oct. 14, 1972 and they spent many years together traveling and camping in the United States and Internationally and enjoyed riding their Harley Davidson Motorcycle with friends.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Mortier; father-in-law, Monroe Mortier; two children, Greg (Angie) Mortier and Tina (Nathan) Rice; three grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Richard (Jean) Olson, Sue (Mark) Thompson, Tom (Carmen) Olson, Bill (Charlie) Olson and Bob Olson and many nieces; nephews; relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Lillian Mortier.
The family received relatives and friends at Gallagher Funeral Home in Oconto on Tuesday, Oct. 3 from 1:30 p.m. until time of the Memorial Services at 4:30 p.m., officiated by Kathy Schroeder.
