THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Kenneth "Ken" Neveu, 94, of Barstow, Ca., formerly of Green Bay passed away Aug. 16, 2017 in Barstow Ca. He served in the 2nd Marine Corps Division during World War II in the Pacific Theatre and made his life in Southern California.
He is survived by two daughters, Robin Neveu, Gillett, and Jackie (Jack) Rotole, Englewood Co.; a son, Craig Neveu, Valley Moreno Ca.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a brother, Don Neveu; a sister, June Kahler, Kewaunee; a sister-in-law, Margery Neveu, Bremerton, Wa.; many nieces and nephews and a special nephew, Dennis Neveu whom considered him as his favorite uncle.
Including his parents, Sylvester and Irene (Corbeille), he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Betty; a sister Eileen Lawrence and four brothers, Lawrence, David, Edwin and Alfred (Fritz) Neveu.
Internment will be a private service at March Air Force Base in California. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home of Suring is assisting the family with arrangements.
