Wausaukee Red Hats Meet Nov. 9

Wausaukee"The Ravishing Matriarch's Red Hats of Wausaukee toured the Wizard of Oz Museum in Wausaukee on Thursday, Oct. 12th. The museum is owned and operated by Garry Parrett. Over 2,000 more items on display were added in the past five years when the Red Hats toured it. The Museum is shown by appointment only and is now closed until next spring.
After the tour they met at Newingham's for lunch. Members brought Halloween cards and signed them which will be taken to New Care Nursing Home in Crivitz for the residents. Diane Groth made six mini pumpkin witch heads. She painted faces on the pumpkins, added purple feathers and a little witches hat. Six lucky ladies got to take them home.
The next meeting will be lunch at 12:30 pm on Thursday, Nov. 9 at Trade Winds in Marinette. Members are to meet in Newingham's parking lot.
