Jana Kristine Vogel, 34, of Oshkosh, formerly of Peshtigo, passed away Monday, Nov. 6, 2017 at home surrounded by family, after a valiant battle with cancer.
Born Sept. 7, 1983 in Green Bay, to Glen and Debbie (Jeske) Reinke, she graduated from Peshtigo High School and attended UW-Oshkosh where she received a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She married Kevin Vogel on Aug. 15, 2009 in Oshkosh.
She was employed by Oshkosh School District as a 4-K teacher. She enjoyed reading when she could find free time, but mostly loved time with her family, especially her children.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin; two children, Tenley and Lennon; her parents, Glen and Debbie Reinke; a sister, Erin (Dan) Kelm; her mother-in-law, Bev (Jay) Deppe; her father-in-law, Steven (Cindy) Vogel and maternal grandmother, Pat Jeske.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William and Margaret Reinke and maternal grandfather, Ralph Jeske.
Visitation will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) in Oshkosh on Saturday, Nov. 11 from noon until time of a service at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
