Mary Kay (Anglemeyer) Andrist-Sjoquist, 84, of Bunnell, Fla., formerly of Amberg, passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast, Fla.
Born May 11, 1933 in Amberg, to the late Bert and Evelyn (Van Kirk) Anglemeyer, she served her Lord and others by helping behind the scenes, not wanting attention or recognition.
Family was her pride and joy and she loved baking, making Special K bars and rhubarb jam and enjoyed counted cross stitch, puzzles, word search, crossword puzzles and gardening.
She is survived by six children, Dennis (Donna) Andrist Sr., Susan (Ronald) Hall, Darryl (Vickie) Andrist, Douglas (Jill) Andrist, Donald Andrist and Tammy (Scott) Heyse; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; six siblings, Elaine, Carol, Allen (Lil), Richard, Betty (Phil) and Albert "Dean" (Marcie) and many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon Andrist; her second husband, Dale Sjoquist and siblings, David and Karen.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, Dec. 16 at the Northwoods Chapel in Pembine from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m., with burial in Amberg Cemetery. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
