Lyle E. LeTendre, 66, of Oconto Falls, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Dec. 18, 2017 at his home.
Born May 1, 1951 in Oconto, to Lyle and Betty (Goodman) LeTendre, he graduated from Oconto High School in 1969 and earned a bachelor of science degree in Pharmacy at UW-Madison in 1974. He had a long career as a pharmacist in the Oconto and Oconto Falls area.
An avid collector of rocks, antiques, coins and Packer memorabilia, he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and skiing, but mostly vacationing in the Hayward area for the last 30 years. A member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Oconto Falls and the Knights of Columbus, he contributed to the community with time and finances.
He is survived by his mother, Betty LeTendre, Oconto; two sisters, Carole (Bob) Brown, Minnesota and Babette (Larry) Grady, Little Chute and nieces and nephews, Brandon (Evelyn) Grady, Karrie Grady.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Sr.
A Knights of Columbus MSGR.LOOZE Council 4869 service will be held at Holy Trinity Parish in Oconto, on Friday, Dec. 22 from 9 a.m. followed by visitation until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with Rev. Joel Sember officiating. Gallagher Funeral Home of Oconto is assisting the family with arrangements. Donations can be made to the Knights of Columbus.
