Kenneth Robert Reichardt, 71, of Marinette, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017 at home, surrounded by family.
Born Nov. 1, 1946, to Robert and Jeanne (Hruska) Reichardt in Marinette, he attended Crivitz High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war and married Patti MacLeod. They had four children.
A dairy farmer on his family farm, he then worked at Waupaca Foundry for 29 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, holidays and time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was the rock of his family and would give the shirt off his back for anyone.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patti; three children, Sandra (Norbert Nunway) Thill, Keith Reichardt and Bobby (Laura) Reichardt; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a brother, Dennis (Carol) Reichardt and a sister Terry Dean.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis and his oldest child, Sheri.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 5 from 3 p.m. until time of the funeral services at 5 p.m. Chaplain Craig Mansur officiated with burial in Forest Home Cemetery.
