Glenn C. Schrank, 89, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 at Pinecrest Medical Care in Powers.
Born June 16, 1928, to the late George and Agnes (Christiansen) Schrank in Menominee, he graduated from Menominee High School in 1946 and received a BA at Carroll College in Waukesha in 1950. On Sept. 20, 1958, he married Donabelle "Dona" Bradt of Columbus in Milwaukee.
After graduation he served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for a manufacturing rep in Milwaukee for a few years before starting his own business as a rep for the Schrank Agency in 1959.
He was the founder and first president of Wisconsin Association of Manufacturing Agents. After retiring in 1985, they returned to Menominee to build his dream home. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Menominee.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dona of Menominee; two sons, Scott (Kristi) Schrank of Crystal Lake, Ill. and Paul Schrank of Menominee; a daughter, Lory Spear of Sun Prairie; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert.
Visitation will be held at Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home in Menominee on Saturday, Jan. 13 from noon until time of funeral services at 2 p.m., with Rev. Jon Nelson officiating.
