Janet Mae (Anderson) Piaro, 82, of Lomira, formerly Amberg, passed away Tuesday Jan. 2, 2018 at Hope Health and Rehab Centerin Lomira.
Born April 1, 1935 in Amberg, to the late Carl and Edith (Ziehm) Anderson, she married Robert Piaro on Nov. 3, 1956 in Milwaukee.
They moved to Amberg in 1986 and she worked at at the former Bank North for 15 years. A member of the Amberg American Legion Auxiliary, she enjoyed reading, feeding the birds, gardening, crossword puzzles and scrabble.
She is survived by five children, Cheryl Doss, Barbara Schobat, Beth (Daryl) Erdman, John (Karla) Piaro and Bob (Judy) Piaro; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a brother, Roger Anderson.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; a granddaughter, Crystal; siblings, Dennis and Pamela and a son-in-law, Bryan.
Family and friends called on Saturday, Jan. 6 at United Presbyterian Church in Amberg from noon until time of the funeral at 1 p.m., with Pastor Don Landwehr officiating. Burial will be in the Amberg Cemetery in the Spring. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee assisted the family with arrangements.
