Arletta (Jo) Kay (Dishmann) Babl, 55, of Marinette, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017 while resting quietly at home.
Born Oct. 17, 1962 in Bluefield, W.V., to Roger and Della Dishmann, she married Brett Babl on Dec. 2, 2003 and they enjoyed camping, boating, grilling out with friends and time with family.
She served in the United States Army from 1982 to 1985 as a Medical and X-Ray Specialist. A life member of the American Veterans Post 6 and the American Veterans Post 6 Auxiliary, she attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and earned an Associate's Degree in Accounting. She expanded her knowledge with classes in Business Management and Information Technologies.
She enjoyed virtual reality animation with friends, photography, video designing and simply hanging out with her dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Brett Babl of Marinette; her mother, Della Wells of Pinnacle, N.C.; maternal grandmother, Hazel Wright of Bluefield, W.V.; a brother, Richard Wells of Pinnacle, N.C.; two step-children, Danielle (Jason) Weiszhaar of Gibsonton, Fla. and Tristan (Chasity) Babl of Menomonie and four step-grandchildren, Caleb, Aubrin and Breckan Babl and Kristen Weiszhaar.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Dishmann and step-father, Jack Wells.
Visitation will be held at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Saturday, Jan. 13 from 9 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. with military honors.
