John W. Tiede, 57, of Peshtigo, passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2018.
Born July 13, 1960, to the late Warren and Phyllis (Lumby) Tiede, he worked at Waupaca Foundry, loved sharing stories, visiting with friends and family and had a sense of humor.
He loved the outdoors, time at his cabin in Dunbar, hunting trips out west, was an all-around sportsman and conservationist, enjoyed reading and was a thinker and seeker of knowledge, but mostly loved time with his children, grandchildren and his two dogs.
He is survived by two sons, Alex (Kayla) Tiede and Douglas Tiede; a daughter, Melissa (Scott) Ditzman; three grandchildren and a sister, Joan (David) Kuss.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul.
Family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, Jan. 18 at Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home in Peshtigo from 4 p.m. until time of services at 8 p.m.Laura J. Valcq
Laura J. Valcq passed away Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018 at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette. Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home of Menominee, Mi. is assisting the family. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced in the Spring.
