Floyd C. Beyer, 87, of Marinette, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 at home.
Born Jan. 26, 1930 in Menmominee, to Martha (Jasch) and Fred Beyer, he graduated from Menominee High School in 1948. He married Lois M. Nelson on Nov. 24, 1951 and they were married for 68 years. He served in the United States Army for two years and was stationed in Germany for 1-1/2 years.
He worked at Signal Electric, then for the City of Marinette for 25 years and part-time doing deliveries for Sears and the Globe.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; a son, Dale of Madison and a daughter, Linda (Glenn) Van Cleve of Menominee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph; and his in-laws, Henry and Alma Nelson.
A private service will be held at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette.
